Get answers to common questions about Upper Half Leg Waxing.
Arrive with clean, dry skin free of lotions and oils. Hair should be about a quarter-inch long for best results. Avoid heavy sun exposure and exfoliate gently 48 hours before. Inform your technician of medications or sensitivities.
You may experience brief discomfort as hair is removed, though pain varies by person. Our technicians use efficient technique, quality wax, and calming aftercare to minimize discomfort. We can offer pre-care tips for sensitive clients.
Results generally last three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth cycles, hormones, and aftercare. With regular waxing hair tends to grow back finer and sparser, often extending the time between appointments.
Waxing may not be appropriate if you are using retinoids or certain acne medications, have sunburn, open wounds, recent chemical peels, or active skin conditions. Disclose medications and medical history so we can advise or perform a patch test.
Avoid shaving between sessions because it shortens hair and prevents effective waxing. If you must shave, allow at least two weeks for regrowth before waxing so the wax can properly grip and remove hair.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, strenuous exercise and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Use gentle, fragrance-free moisturizers and lightly exfoliate after 48–72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs. Contact us if irritation or prolonged redness occurs.
