Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Volume Lash Maintenance.

We recommend maintenance every 10–14 days for high-density volume sets. This timeframe allows us to replace lost lashes, preserve fan shape, and prevent gaps. Longer intervals are possible but may require longer fills or a full touch-up to restore volume.

When applied and maintained by certified technicians using proper isolation and adhesive, volume maintenance should not damage natural lashes. We assess lash health each visit, adjust fan weight and adhesive, and advise rest periods if natural lash integrity shows signs of stress.

Most maintenance sessions take 45–75 minutes, depending on retention and required refill percentage. A light touch-up can be quicker, while heavier fills to restore high density may take longer. We’ll give an accurate time estimate when you book.

Avoid heavy water, steam, or oil-based products for at least 24 hours prior, as moisture can weaken the adhesive bond. If you’ve just been in water, reschedule or allow lashes time to fully dry to ensure optimal retention and application results.

Avoid rubbing, steam, and oil-based products for 24–48 hours. Use a clean spoolie daily, gently brush lashes, and apply recommended lash serum sparingly. Schedule regular maintenance every 10–14 days and follow your stylist's personalized care tips to maximize retention.

Conversion is possible depending on natural lash strength and current retention. We’ll evaluate your natural lashes and remaining extensions; some conversions require multiple sessions to avoid overloading. Your technician will recommend the safest approach to achieve fuller volume.
