Get answers to common questions about Cluster Individual Lashes.
Cluster individual lashes are a short-term solution—most clients enjoy full impact for 3–7 days. Lifespan depends on natural lash shedding, adhesive quality, and aftercare like avoiding oil-based products and rubbing. Touch-ups are not recommended for clusters.
When applied and removed professionally, cluster lashes pose minimal risk. However, repeated or improper use, heavy clusters, or aggressive removal can cause stress or breakage. We recommend periodic breaks between applications and consulting technicians for safe adhesive and removal techniques.
Arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes and natural lashes free of oil and mascara. Avoid caffeine to minimize eye twitching and skip eyelash growth serums 24–48 hours prior. Inform your technician about allergies or sensitivity to adhesives.
We generally advise avoiding mascara to preserve adhesive and prevent clumping. If you must, use a water-based mascara sparingly on the lash tips only, and avoid waterproof formulas. Gently cleanse lashes without oil to extend wear.
Most cluster applications take 30–60 minutes depending on desired density and eye shape. A consultation and patch test may add time for first-time clients. We schedule enough time to ensure comfortable, precise application and preferred styling.
Avoid water, steam, and saunas for the first 24 hours to let adhesive set. Use oil-free cleansers, avoid rubbing, and sleep on your back if possible. Gently comb clusters with a clean spoolie and avoid oil-based makeup removers to prolong wear.
